Lookalikeness Vol. 1 - NY Times Screentest: Gordon-Levitt

A young actor who reminds me of Heath Ledger in a way, in facial features like the strong jaw and the eyes is Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Brick is his probably his most interesting film for me... neo-noir, Hardboiled story in a high school setting, very cool.

My point to point this out is if Christopher Nolan ever considers to bring back the Joker in (hopefully) his third installment of Batman... G-L should be the one to go with, while they never seemed to have a problem changing Katie Holmes' part for Maggie Gyllenhaal.
But Heath Ledger just owned The Dark Knight in a way we've never seen before, it was mesmerizing and over the top haunting.

I don't think that they should bring him back for the whole movie, but maybe do a Scarecrow, film J G-L behind bars in the Arkham Asylum or something like that, an ending of some sort.

Yes, you hit the nail on the head actually. We need some sort of closure.
