This is how the desktop looks like now. Initially it had the most basic layout, just after when the Mac was set up (obviously). Everything needed to be installed yet. And after getting a LaCie 500 GB external HDD for Time Machine it was pimpin' time.
And this is what I did:
- First of all, no theme has been used, just a very extensive icon and overall customizing.
I used CandyBar 3 (http://www.panic.com/candybar)
- Let's start with the Dock: adapted with their own application, adding spacers and Revamped (http://www.leoparddocks.com/index.php)
- The music app on the desktop and menubar is CoverSutra 2.1.2 (http://coversutra.com)
- The Adium (http://www.adiumx.com) skin is HUD (http://www.adiumxtras.com/index.php?a=xtras&xtra_id=4999) and the icon is iMac 4G (http://www.adiumxtras.com/index.php?a=xtras&xtra_id=4615)
- The general icons are Alumi, practically everything Aqua has been changed into it (http://interfacelift.com/icons-mac/details.php?id=1980)
- The Superman Returns icon is for my iPod Video, which I appropriately named Kal-El (http://www.supermanhomepage.com/multimedia/multimedia.php?topic=icons)
- Black Finder icon (http://interfacelift.com/icons-mac/details.php?id=1420), my most important "colour".
- Black Safari icon (http://machappens.com/2007/11/24/safari-icon), it took me a while to find this, so enjoy!
- Black Firefox icon (http://machappens.com/2007/11/24/firefox-icon)
- Black & Blue iPhoto and TextEdit (http://interfacelift.com/icons-mac/details.php?id=1863), almost every app in its set has been used to modify
- Followed by trivial map icons of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (one of my favourite movies), Star Wars, The Simpsons Movie and Kill Bill... I'm quite the movie buff...
