New Macintosh notebooks and displays

So this week the new Mac notebooks were introduced in a new casing. It looks stylish, because it's designed like the aluminium iMac series, but... as far as upgrades go, besides the looks, they really haven't a lot more to offer in comparison with the previous line.

Frankly, I hate it. Really hate it. It's the screens. Why did they make it glossy, while knowing that every single print designer is going to hate and reject them? It's not just the MacBook and the MacBook Pro. No, The new LED Cinema Displays are provided with a shiny surface as well! They're replacing the Apple Cinema Displays.

I don't hate them enough to reject our beloved Macs, but I hate it certainly enough to actually consider not to buy them. Although the iMac already had this problem, I didn't make much of it. Because I wasn't going to use it nearly as much as my sister, who isn't a professional. Besides that, there is no visible difference anymore between the Macbook Pro and the consumer's Macbook except for the size op it, which are 13" and 15". See for yourself.

They used let the professionals choose between the matte or glossy finish, even when most of the pro-line was produced in matte. Why, Apple, why? Why, Steve, why?
